This Ruggedized PTZ Dome comes with a charge hose and pressure regulator that allows you to pressurize the dome with either Dry Nitrogen or even Air from your regular compressor (must include dessicant pack if your air system is not equipped with an air-dryer system.)

Pressurizing the dome keeps out any dust particulate matter from entering the dome or getting into the Pan/Tilt mechanism - or from settling on the optics lenses.

Even when not pressurized, the dome achieves an IP67 Rating (Dome has a “Low Pressure Alarm” built in that can be disabled if operating the dome un-pressurized).

Designed to function properly at 25º below zero, all the way up to 140º above, while keeping dust and debris out of the mechanisms. Normally, dust and debris will grind down the mechanical parts of a PTZ down to nothing within weeks if unprotected. Heater & blower is included and pre-wired.

Designed to be pressurized from 3-5psi, and is equipped with a pressure relief valve to automatically vent excess pressure above 10psi.

  If you're not familiar with WDR cameras, you will be surprised at their ability to handle bright light sources and "even out" the picture, and they do the same thing under extreme low light conditions as well.

  For example - a camera that is facing the front windows of a store will shut down the shutter against the bright sunlight, and it makes it impossible to see a person's face or features, but WDR technology "evens out" the lighting so that the features and face of the person coming toward the camera is normal again.

  This feature also works well with glare, reflection light and headlights of vehicles.

  In extreme low light conditions, the WDR camera will amplify any available light many times, so human eye can achieve.
