An Alabama woman wanted for theft did the right thing after watching her local news. Columbus police say 40-year-old Tama Rogers of Fayette, Alabama surrendered to officers Thursday afternoon.

Rogers was wanted in connection with a stolen credit card. Police say surveillance video at Scrubs & Co. on Highway 45 in Columbus showed Rogers making a purchase with the stolen credit card. After WCBI aired the footage she turned herself in. Rogers is charged with identity theft.
